I'm sorry but this thread is too hysterical. Dude comes on and says he's got 500-large to plunk down on a boat with the only requirement being that it has "merc motors" -- maybe a cat, maybe a V...........and it's like a piece of bloody meat was just tossed in the middle of a school of sharks.

that's how the world got in the current mess,
give money to anyone for anything, due diligence done or not, and hope enough people can actually pay enough to offset those who don't. hard to imagine banks are still doing that.
