Default Battery Chargers / Recomendations

I'm looking for some feed back and experience with battery chargers - I'm torn between the Guest 2631 and the Pro-Pak 4 -Does anyone have any experience on either one of these units?

Much appreciated...

Sorry no experience with those name brands. My boat came with a C Charles,I had a problem"Fire" and they warranted it,I also have one in my car trailer it stays on 24/7.Even with the prob I would consider buying another.

I have gone through two of the exact same chargers on the Donzi. First one had very little use and was replaced under Z care second also went bad. Luckily not like yours but i dont trust them anymore, get something else.

They said it have a defective braze on the circuit board, and they already new about it, no recall, claimed it wasn't bad enough to catch the boat on fire,[what about gas fumes?]
I believe it was a 99 year model. the took the old one back and sent out a reman one,5 year warranty was nice.It did throw the breaker, after I saw it was smoked, I plug it back up thats when the fire started. I guess it would matter how ya had it mounted, the top were the fan is ,it would have to be mounted close to something above it, Member LMarth had the same thing happen to him.

The bad thing was I had just covered up the boat, was fixing to leave and smelled electrical burn, figured it might be something else, until the smoke started coming out from under the cover, prob lucky
