Blowers & TRS

Is anyone running TRS with blowers? I'm thinking of blowers on my 420's but am concerned that the drives might not take it. Im usually easy out of the hole, but who knows with the added power. Wadda think?

not sure about this so dont hold me to it but i have heard that the TRS's can handle up to about 600hp if built right and taken care of (no holeshots or hard starts)
I have about 450hp nonblower power through my TRS and they are solid for the last 3 yrs. :D

I have been told that they will last longer if you don`t stress them too hard. Run a three blade prop and let them slip a little coming on plane rather than running a four blade that will hook up hard and put them under a lot of stress.

Hey Biggus!
You are right on the money$$$! TRS drives will handle around 600
to 650 Hp. There are acouple of factures that you have to add to the equation. Size and weight of boat are cruicial. If cag33
installs some 174 or 177 superchargers his 420 Hp will make approx 525 to 550 Hp. The drives will be fine with this amount of HP in front of them. You can still run a 4 blade Bravo I propeller.
The weak link will be the lower unit assembly on the TRS not the upper.
