Jim doesn't belong to this board however he certainly deserves a little credit.

The torque # was what I thought was very impressive. With his magic he worked on the floors of those heads I think he said he gained 40-50 lb-ft over his 565 (and used allot of welding rod). I think it was around 720lb-ft.? Not to bad for a 565NA.

I am going to talk to him tomorrow, I will see if he will post the specs on his engine or this engine. They are identical except his is fuel injected, versus carbed, and he welded the floors up on this carbed engine. He might be tearing the heads off his Fountain as we speak to weld up the floors and re-port. Its all in the porting

Hey Rookie,
Be sure and get on his s**t for taking a vacation is FL. He was just leaving to return home when I talked to him the other day. He drove all the way down for just a 2-day drunk. I can't believe his fountain is still in one piece. When you talk to him tell him I hope he gets to my heads soon. Jim is a all around great guy and has the ability to find and make power like none others.

Imagine Jim and Bob under the same roof... Wouldn't that be miracle.

I talked to Jim earlier today and he said he would log in and break down what is in their. cam is a hydraulic roller around 236 duration lift is a little below 0.700" but I think he is running 1.8's on the intakes, and compression ratio 10.2:1 on ported Dart Pro1's, twin Holley 950's

That Fountain is a trip, we blew the drive last year up at Croton Hardy running around 80 near the dam. We had to drive back to consumer beach a couple miles in reverse, no one would stop to give us a tow.

That sucks about the reverse deal. I heard about that. He menitoned the duration was 236/244 and the lift he thought was near .670. I like the end of the 27 ride video. Looked like he had his hands full didn't it.
