Always a fun time with Rob and crew around. The amazing thing about the St. Petes run and Rob's crew in the Cat'astrophe Nor-tech was that everyone in the boat was BEAMING after they got back from making the run to and from Sarasota in BIG water. Rob flew the boat perfectly and the crew's smiles ( a couple of them are OSO members) were a testament to how smooth the ride is in a BIG cat like a 43 NT. Most of the boats didn't even TRY to run to Sarasota because the water was so big. All six of them kept on saying the same word: Awesome.
We also did the Bahama's run with Platinum Powerboat Club in David Ginfrida's triple 50V NT the next weekend. Even though it was a bit rough in the 12-14' seas, the boat ran flawless round trip. Maintaining the leaders www.teammarineunlimited.com. |
