MSD 85551 vs MSD 8560

I currently have the MSD 85551 distributor on my engine application and I wanted to know if you guys would replace it with the marine 8560 - If so, why?

I'm asking because I want to see if it worth the money replacing...

Your engine will not know the difference.

Same components inside, different connector, the 8560 is somewhat weather tight and has a weatherpack connector.

Not worth spending the bucks.

I appreciate the feedback - I just thought there would be some long term effects once I go back and forth from salt to fresh water. I didn't think I would loose any performance, I was just worried about vibration and moisture ruining the components - I'll keep it the was it is until I have to replace them - thanks again,

the push type connector on your distributor connector would benefit from some dielectric grease to limit corrosion.
