I heard there are already boats rolling in. Weather looks like it is going to be awesome.

I've gotten mixes with the weather thunderstorms n cloudiness all weekend then nice weather just prayin for the latter.... Also mixed emotions about debris on the lake? I & a few others are pretty much goin regardless just would really like to know what's goin on down there, anyone @ the lake got anything to throw in?

A friend of mine went last weekend. He went from Connelly to Greider hill and said it wasn't that bad. He has a new 46' Formula. He wouldn't take it out if it was that bad.

We have about 40 patrol boats signed up. Everyone will need to help pick up the small stuff and we'll tow the big stuff off to the side.

It's going to be a great event. We'll be on the water from 11am to 6pm on Saturday and 11 to 3:30 on Sunday.

THURSDAY May 14, 2008
9am-6pm Race Village set up
7 pm-9pm Racers Party – Grider Hill Marina

FRIDAY May 15, 2008
10am-9pm Race Village opens to the public
7pm-9pm Opening Ceremony Halcomb’s Landing Race Village Details to follow Team attendance is mandatory.

SATURDAY May 16, 2009
10:30am-5pm Race Control Open & Course Staffed
11-1 Insured Testing
1:15 pm OSS Vee Lite & Cat O/B 1st heat race
2 - 4 pm Insured Testing
4:15 pm OSS Vee Lite & Cat O/B 2nd heat race
5-5:30pm Cat Lite, Cat 750 and Cat 850
5:45 pm OSS Pro AM Race
7:30 pm Huge party at State Dock with Awards


SUNDAY May 17, 2009
11am-5pm Race Control Open
11:30am-3:30pm OSS Powerboat Races - Class order TBA
7pm Award's Ceremony Race Village

I was there last weekend. It wasn't that bad near the State Dock, it should be good as far as the debris goes. It's gonna be a great weekend. Hope to see a bunch of hardware there. I can't wait.
