Laurent Lemay MISSING, owner of Target Powerboats,
Sadly, I saw this morning in the montreal newspaper, pages 28 and 29, Laurent Lemay, owner of TARGET POWERBOATS catamaran is now missing.
Yesterday, sunday, he was testing is yellow Target boat, with his daughter and his boyfriend, right in front of Brousseau Marine in St-Sulpice. He went for a mile, turned around and on his way ack, hit a wake. The boat kind of flipped and and landed up side down on the 3 occupants.
Michel Brousseau saw this and jumped in a boat to go rescue the 3, but could only rescue the 2 youngest. Michel dove in the water , searching for Laurent, under the boat but could never find him. cops, firefighter and coast guard did some research and will continu today to find Laurent back...
The 2 rescued are slightly injured, in the hospital but should apparently recover from this...
From the pictures when putting back the boat on trailer, the left side of the boat from w-shield to the transom is ripped off, we can see the port engine.
Thoughts and prayer for Laurent's wife, children and his whole family...
Sad way to end the season for sure... I'll post pictures from the news paper later today...

If someone from OSO management could put this tread on the top of tread and ''stick'' it there, I'm sure many OSO member would care about reading this, since this guy was known by quite a few in the powerboat world...
