Question bravo 1 gear oil can? keeps beeping.

why?

496 mag stock on my 03 checkmate. i went for a ride a couple weeks ago thing started beeping. figured it out, put a screwdriver in there, mushed it around and it shut down. great. next day i went out again, same thing, put the screw driver back in, didnt do it. unplugged the wires and it was fine when i plugged it back it.

this weekend went back out thing wouldnt stop, so i just unplugged it and drove home.
whats up with that?
does it matter if its unplugged till i get a new one? i know its full, its not leaking, never had an issue befor. what could it be?

any info?

I've gone through a few on the Donzi its not uncommon for them to get sticky or just go bad. Not sure if they sink or what but it does happen. I just disconnected it and got a replacement later.

The flote gets stuck down and sounds the horn, Just get a new one when you get time. I have tryd to clean them but it never seems to work after cleaning it. You still do need that bottle working right due to the oil dose go down after awhile and you do want to know about it when it dose go down.

ok, i just didnt want to drive the boat if there was a way the float would block the hole or something. its cheep to change, and im taking the boat out of the water after this weekend, so if i use it this weekend then replace it once i get it home it sounds like i should be good
