Default Does anyone here go to the Miami Yacht Show?

Have 0 interest in owning one but will admit I do have a real fascination in them. Are the yachts on display there for our viewing pleasure? Can we get aboard them? If I had to qualify myself before boarding I’d be screwed, I guess I’m wondering if its worth the 25 bucks.

its tough to get in the mega yacht row, a friend of mine was an engineer for Richmond Yachts and we were lucky enough to get on a 147 they had there. Unless you know someone that knows someone . . . . or your an actual buyer . . . its nearly impossible

When I was there last year I had no problem getting onto multiple yachts. Honestly, I got more attention from the yacht salesman than I did from the other show lol.

You probably can't get on the 100 million dollar yachts but yes you can board plenty of them just don't dress like Joe Dirt and ask to board while chewing tobacco and drinking a can of natty light! Also if there are a bunch of shoes on the dock/transom then don't ask on that one as they could have a serious buyer aboard. If it has a helicopter on it, I'd think that is off limits too!

A few years ago I had 4 kids with me and we saw the "I'm on a boat" yacht for sale, coincidentally Justin Bieber rented it for a video or something as well so the kids were all excited. Cute girl working as a hostess so I simply asked if we could board the boat. She said absolutely! Kids are taking pics on the bow, we toured the whole boat and thanked her when we left. Needless to say they found that to the coolest thing at the show and it made them "instagram famous!"
