Skater & MTI out playing on Grand Lake *Video*

We have a trip planned for Grand June 25-28. REALLY looking forward to it. Our friends live in Grove I'm aware that it is a pretty good haul to the south end however we'll be there. Any tips? What about navigating Duck Creek ect. Bringing a 25 Talon with OBs.

Duck creek will be easy for you because you have twin engines.. idle speed past the first red marker... Thats all ya need to know about that! The haul from Grove to Duck isnt that far... a handful of miles. Youll get a little rough comin that route but itll be fun! If the bass boats can do it, you can do it! lol

makin the idle through dripping springs is a lot of fun too as long as all the amateurs are behaving. This weekend, Ill put up some footage of our "Party Cove" and the gathering of the cats.. Grand Lake has a lot more to offer than most people think! Its not a "park at the hotel and walk to the bar" kinda place but theres a LOT to do in a small area.. I love it here, its HOME!

It is around 13 miles from Honey Creek Bridge down to Duck Creek and Gray's Hollow (the location of Dripping Springs which is the party cove) and around another 6 miles on down to the dam. With a 25 foot boot, you will be able to run on plane at up to 30 mph in Duck Creek during the daytime (boats over 30 feet have to stay at a fast idle or less). Since the dates you mention is not a holiday weekend, the lake should not be super rough and Dripping Springs will be easy to get in and out of. Just watch out for the wakes from the big cruisers like the E Dock Mother Ship (580 Sea Ray).
