Andy, I only ran it for 10 seconds at most. So I'm not worried about it, a friend suggested a Globe impeller so I'm might switch it out.

The good, the hard, and the not so ugly.

The good: 8 seconds to pull my engine, 20 minutes to shore up supports on the trailer for transport.

The Hard: 6 hours to break down the engine, it was slow because I had to stop and video each new step we were doing. But wow, what a beating, it kicked my ass.

Not so ugly: Took off the oil filter, not one shred of metal anywhere, in fact, every looked good from what we could tell. We didn't have a lift so we didn't pull the pan.

Here are some pics of all the parts in my garage, the only thing I'm worried that when reassembling, keeping everything tight and neat. The damn wiring harness is a MONSTER, it looked like the spider robots from The Matrix were designed from that thing.

I'm gonna have the heads looked at, vat job, cam bearings, hone, new rings, main and rod bearings, and a Fel-Pro gasket set. Am I missing anything for a refresh?

I'll post what they actually find.

If you don't have shiny bearing material in your oil, then its highly unlikely you have a bad rod or main bearing.

Griff you nailed it, my piston shrank in #8 cylinder. The machine shop said the engine looked awesome and was in excellent condition. So I'm just waiting on one forged piston, and the valve job, he said I'll be saving some $$$.

So what caused the shrinkage, I went to O'reilly's autoparts and gave them my engine number for a set of plugs in Feb, (I didn't realize it's right there printed on the engine, duh!) They set me up with the wrong plugs, the thread was too long and too hot of a plug. Not sure if I have a case against them or not.
