This is silly. Your boat is fast, PP is fast. But lets not stretch the truth, Bill was running 93 octane fuel and had just under 10psi of boost. I know this to be a FACT. If you looked at the engines, you could clearly see what pulley's he had. Nobody tried to hide that fact. Compare those to yours, and you'll notice near 3000rpm compressor speed x2 which is a difference of 5-7psi of boost.
Lets not stretch how much power PP had at the poker vs. what can be made. They can make 1600+ with race gas and more boost, but thats not what was run. So even with less power and lower octane, the boat ran very well.
Thanks,
Dustin

Is this the video? I just searched for 2009 jacksonville poker run and came up with this. It shows Pure Platinum ahead of everyone but I have no idea if this is it...
"388 skater pure platinum starboard side "

Great video!

By the way, here's some interesting math for you boys....
at 170 mph going a distance of 10 miles it will take 3minutes 31 seconds to reach the end of the 10 mile run.
to catch that 170mph boat when you are 1 mile behind, it will take running at 187.6 mph.
Moral of the story....If you don't get a good start, you're F*CKED.....Unless of course someone breaks!
What's the distance from the start to the bridge at Jax?

Point is: It's all in the start when you're talking these kinds of speeds. If you want to be first to the stop, if that's your goal, you really shoule reconsider lagging behind to "blow past" others.
I'd like to see you guys race, I think it'd be cool. I mean Bills shown his GPS at 180. I don't know what your boat runs but I'm sure its up there or more. It'd be a great drag race. But two absolute facts I see here.
A) you were first to the bridge
B) if Pyburn didn't break, he would've been. Simple mathmatics.
