Have you been in a 46 or bigger cat and or have you raced supper boat side by side? Sorry to ask but I don't know you. If you have done any of the above you can answer the question yourself. As everybody has said Kemosabe is a bad azz boat and has its place in the bad azz boat world!!! Nothing to prove here but you are asking and I have been next to similar boats in Key West and Big cats are faster in all water.

No, I have no cat experience. And Kemosabe is the best Apache Powerboat. I was hoping one of you cat guy's had some experience against it in 6' to 8' plus seas. Not a powerboat that you feel might be similar.

If I don't manage to break anything else on it between now and then yes. Had it out last saturday evening for a short shakedown then had a docking "incident" sunday Am so it was back to CPR and Vincent for some TLC.

Just for the sake of credibility, Jim (Freedom US1) has won multiple championships, and raced back when many of the big Apaches were still out there.

As far as I know, Kemosabe hasn't been raced in, or for a full season ever, has it? It is definitely the baddest 47 Apache in popularity by far. It's supposed to be the fastest/best handling that Apache ever built, but it's not as fast as todays fastest offshore cats.

It's no different than classic hot rods/race cars vs todays hot rods & race cars. They are all awesome pieces of equipment.
