In Hull Transducer ?

Do they make an in hull transducer for a Garmin 5215 series GPS? Also does anyone know where you can get a mount for this GPS? Im trying to find something to mount it to so i dont have to flush mount it flat to the side of me since my compass is in front of me.
If there is no in hull transducer what does everyone recommend? i would hate to drill through the hull and cause a potential weak spot down the line. Its for my 1977 39ft cigarette CAM boat.

thanks

You can just order the transom mount transducer - and fibreglass it to the bottom of the hull and make sure there is no air.

You may have t dig through some of your boats core material before you get to the hull.

Works great.

See my post on the Bob thread.
It is a lot easier on an existing boat to install a transom mount but they don't work very well once you're on plane if you have a step bottom hull.
