I've been up and down the intercoastal from NJ to Fl for over 30 years. I just don't remember the kind of marinas that you are looking for here in the Northeast where you can have a vacation everyday.

Your in a small boat with no creature comforts what are you planning to do at these marinas? - you have no car, probably no bikes, no real cabin to hang in, etc, etc.

I'd take one shot down to Liberty, take in all the sites and cruise around the area, lots of things to see by boat you don't see in a car. Then right to AC or Wildwood. Your boat is fast enough that 150 or 200 miles a day is nothing.

I guess you duck into Pt Pleasant and thake the IC down if you like no wake zones, lots of boat wakes and flies - me I take the Ocean down and get to where I'm going and then relax.

AC you have things to do, casinos, shopping, boardwalk, places to eat, drink, rides for the kids at night- public tranportation all around. Wildwood you have things going on. Pt Pleasant or Toms River area just don't see it?

When I had my 42 fountain I took it from Old Saybrook, CT to Toms river in NJ. I did this back in 03 so I dont remember where I stayed on Toms river. I think it took me a little over 4 hours cruising around 55 (roughly because I cant remember). I was able to make it with my regular tanks and reserve tanks. I think that was 240 gallons.

If you're going to have kids with you, you might want to think about maybe Beach Haven on Long Beach Island for a stop. You can be walking distance to a water park, small amusement park, and a bunch of shops and places to eat.

The only problem with that is that the run from there to Atlantic City would be really short.

Also, while you are down in the Wildwood area, I'd check out Cape May if you've never been there. Cool little town to see.

If you're coming up with 95 miles from Beach Haven to Atlantic City, you've got a huge miscalculation somewhere. Inside or outside is nowhere near that far.

You sure you aren't looking at Long Island instead of Long Beach Island? Big difference.
