That looks pretty cool. If I recall a GP boat will run around 150plus down the straights.
Have you ever been around that type of boat? They dont have transmissions...you start it, you go. |

Miss Renault was probably an Unlimited. GP boats were basically the highest (fastest) class boats before you got into an unlimited. They ran blown big blocks, and were(are?) popular in Canada |

dont mean to be a party po ooper but be careful......those things are not a toy......flatwater only.....they will not tolerate very much chop and absolutly no swells......you do and they will stuff and kill you in a heartbeat

Yep this true. They are a major handful with a slightest bit of chop. When we would test, the water was glass, the driver wore a helmet, had life jacket with a parachute, and there was always a chase boat. You can stuff them, or they blow over pretty easy. They are also made to only turn left at any kind of speed. But just like anything else, just use wise judgment |
