GET THE FIREWALL. Even without cable hookup,I get attacked alot with people trying to hack in with a Trojan horse. I hate to say, but most time is when I am surfing these boating forums.

FIREWALL???? We don' needs no stinking firewall!!!! And I didn't know there were RULES to using the cable. Oh, I get it. You mean the cable is neato-keen. I'm a little slow these days, being all hopped up on vicodin.

How do you test your speed? I feel that my system has slowed down since the conversion from Excite to Comcast and I wanted to check just to make sure.
I have a router/hub hooked to my cable, this allows me to share my connection with 4 computers. It also creates sub IP addresses which hides your true IP addres and works as a firewall. Cable Rules!
