If so wouldn't common sense tell you maybe running a 100' boat putting out a huge wake around docks might not be smart? NO, you can't.............. The basin is protected on one side by a piece of land owned by the Army Corp.s of Engineers. Coming from the North (East) you can't tell you are about to enter a "slow" zone at all. Coming from the other direction (heading North) it is fairly obvious, there is a long stretch of fixed dock on the left side. Again though, the signage down there is total schit, always has been. Over the years private land owners have tried to put up no wake signs, and "you are responsible for your wake" signs, no one pays attention until you get right up near the Chesapeake City bridge though. |
