Recommendations?

So I was going to order a new Baja but have been told they have stopped production because they don't have enough orders.

What are similar boats to the Baja 277 Islander with 525EFI?

Look at the Sunsation 288. They have them in open and closed bow. Great boat, the best customer service of any boat company, and with Mithcher T paint, it would be one of a kind. With a 525 or 496 mag ho with a Raylar kit it would be a screamer. Much better ride and handling, IMHO than a Baja. Better construction and rigging.

Has to be open bow. What about American Offshore 29 deck boat? How is the ride in that compared to a V hull in normal lake choppy water?
