For all of us BRAVO BUTTS

Just got confirmation from a buddy at Mercury Racing that they are finally going to relaese the NXT Drive seperatly for all of us that do not want to buy a complete package.
I can tell you from experience a couple summers ago when I was testing the drive in one of Mercurys test boats. Mercury had a 36 BAJA w/ a single 700 and an NXT drive. Part of the routine was to try to break it. In trying to break it we would hole shot it from a dead stop. We tested it for months under those kind of conditions - It Never Broke....
Price starting at 20k each.....:ernaehrung004:

+1

Does it use a specific bellhousing and inner transom plate or the same as a bravo?
.

You will have to get a whole Gimble assembly per drive and sorry guys, never said it was going to be cheap!! LT

Dont know about the cut out, but you will have to run the NXT transmission, no shifting done in the drive.

I'm sure it will need a different cut out. I've seen the 700 boats at the A.T. factory and they do have a different cut out. I would love to fit a couple of these babies on the backside of my 37.

For what you would be getting into cost-wise, it would seem some Areneson's would be the more cost effective upgrade to a Bravo.
