Thumbs up ILMOR Factory Tour by Sharkey-Images

ILMOR Hi-Performance was a stop on the "TOUR of HI-PERFORMANCE in MICHIGAN".
After spending the day on the ILMOR DONZI during the OPA races in Harrison Twp with Ian Hawkins "GENERAL MANAGER for ILMOR, I asked if Sharkey-Images could take a tour of the plant and take photos. It was not a problem as long as I understood there were confidential areas of the plant that could not be photographed.
I met with Bob Mason "Sales Manager" for ILMOR and he gave me the tour.
I now bring you a Vitual Tour of the ILMOR PLANT through my images.
Enjoy !

Go to IlmorMarine.com, click on "Ilmor Marine" then "Indy Drive" and download the "H-P Racing Magazine" with the button at the bottom of the page. Very slick and informative.

very cool.. Correct me if Im wrong.. But it appears that the Indy drive is more in line with the #6 vs the NXT. Anyone know what the advertised hp it can handle, and what boats are they on now for testing. Impressive company that has the where with all to go against Mercury.

I visited Ilmor in the past and I have to say the place is Spotless! It is defintely a state of the art engine building facility. Oh, and the people are very nice too.
