Didn't Michael Peters design this boat? I know the molds were done in WA all CNC'd and straight.
Good boat. It runs about 90 with twin Ilmor 625's.

Schiada builds an absolutely incredible machine. Old school, hardcore.
They Are most well known for their 20-24 ft V-drive Cruiser style boats that are typically powered with ludicrous turbos in 1400 hp range or blown big blocks on race or alky.
Their ski racers are all business, absolute killing machines built with the finest components you can cut checks for.
Their Big V is completely unique and Very well put together, and offers an unbelievable ride experience for passengers.
I never said they were good looking, and in fact find em down right ugly, but as far as a boat goes-these are the goods, no doubt.

They have that bull nose look. I like pointy boats
They could probably cut that freeboard down 3 feet and make a poker run special deck with 3 bolsters, no amenities and 3500# less weight. With their build quality, it would be awesome.

Michael Peters did collaborate on the bottom design. Lee had the original idea but part-way through the process he decided that he might want a second (expert) opinion just to make sure he was on the right track. The 43 is by far Schiada's largest project and Lee didn't want to build a mold, pull a part, rig the boat and then find out that the bottom wasn't right.

[QUOTE=RiverDave;2973815]Some more pics from the Catalina ski race this year, and other random pics I have on my hard drive.
If you guys want to see some more up close pictures of rigging, or have any questions let me know! I have a lot more up close pics etc..
Thanks for the pics.. any more shots would be appreciated. rigging as well as some other shots next to a few other boats to check her size out. Cabin looked good.. whats the headroom. Thanks Jeff.

Dont think so. Ive only ever seen one of them, but Id bet they'd do it in a heartbeat for you.
I sat in the 43 at the boat show and It was enormous.
Ive been in apartments with less room.
Ill try to dig up some pictures for you.
Schiada rigging is borderline surgical, up there with the very best customs built.
Providing you can live with look, I wouldn't hesitate a second to invest money in them, they have been around forever and have a rich successful pedigree- good stuff Jassman.

I would like to see more of the cabin and engine room.
The wife wants more cabin room (Think cruiser NO!)
I work on the motors myself so that is a concern. I couldn't find allot of pics on the web site of the 43.
