I think wind, if any, will be the biggest factor, plus the course may be a fraction shorter than the old course.

How long is the course?

I wish they would allow head to head grudge races. It's one thing running agaist the clock but there's nothing better then drag raging someone and that split second when you know you have them beat. I would be up for that in a second!

we know the 4 engine skaters don't do the highest absolute speeds, but what about acceleration?

i'm gonna go skater on this one. the 4 skeg drag ain't gonna make a difference in a drag race. the additional weight is of engines only (for the most part).

but i guess we'll see.

how about two 28 skaters goin' head to head.

The Skater has had the outboard skegs removed.

A 4 engine hook up is like having two more oars in the water. If there are going to be 3 passes you can bet there will be some prop changes in between.

[I] heard the recycle boat has four engins hooked to two arnsons

It does. I'm pretty sure they are 800 KE's with Arneson 10's.
Just to be clear, the Recycler is not the 4 engine Skater doing the drag race.

It would sure change things up a bit. I'd be game for it!

If there will be three passes I wonder if they will all be different, standing start, 30 roll on and 60 roll on.... or anything in between

All 3 are supposed to be a 60 mph start.
