Would you buy a boat with turbine engines.
Jerry. They put on a good show, but do nothing for me past that. |

What fuel do they run on and can you get it on the water?

If I were going to have a "fast" boat and money were no object, there is nothing that sounds better than nasty big cube motors at high RPM. I would have a spare set to keep on rotation.
The only other thing I could see needing 2000 hp in would be a big Magnum etc. and would prefer monster diesel's. |
turbines all the way. just for the freak value. if money were no object you could do boat with the turbines and one boat with big high HP v8s. best compromise.

probably speaking out of turn here, but anyone ever heard of the Wally Boat ? Seems to be resaonably priced for what your get.... and money not being an issue :eekdrop: http://www.powerandmotoryacht.com/me...wer/index.aspx

What a great question!
Turbine Marines work is so outstanding that I would love to have a new cat rigged by them. Maybe give that new 48 MTI a shot, without a canopy. A definite "dream boat" $$$$$$$ |
Without a doubt, 48 MTI full race set up with T-55's and BPM's.....bring on the Mystic's!!
