And the deal falls thru!!!! G-Dam# Fuck%$@ used car salesman!!!!

Is there an honest used car salesman in this country??? I have been telling this guy for one week (as of today) that I could afford $xxx for a payment. Not a penny more. I am at the dealership tonight, ready to sign the paperwork, pen in one hand, insurance rider in the other. He then tells me and my father (I had my father meet me there, he's a lot smarter than I am with the finance stuff) that it will be $xxx + xx. Holy **** did I fly off the handle. And I made sure everyone in the place heard me. What does it take to get a salesman to hear $xxx not $xxx + xx????????? I have been drilling it into him for a week!!!!!!! Every day but Sunday!!!!!!!! So they offer me $500 more for my truck but it still doesn't even get close. Now I am really pissed and I simply walk into the managers office and tell him what I think of him too.

I am not quick to anger. I do not fly off the handle. But this really burned me. Bad. I really liked this truck. A lot. I really wanted this truck. A lot. Not gonna happen now. They had another deposit on it (so they tell me) so they don't have to dicker with me over the final price. Some one else is ready to buy it. ****ers. And to top it off, they embarrased me in front of my father.:( That almost hurts more than not getting the truck.

So now I have to start this proccess all over again to find another truck. And I have to go back to the insurance company and put insurance back on my Dodge. Goda%$ ****$@} used car salesmen.

Thanks for listening. I feel a little better. (not really)

Last fall I drove from Toledo to Chicago to buy a 30th anniversary Z28 convertable. Deal was done on the phone. cars gonna cost $xx,xxx.xx no problem. got a casheers check, be there in the morning to pick it up. I get there and they tell me they just learned that this is a limited production car, hence its worth more, and they want an extra $2,000. I says what about the deal we had. They said since I drove all the way here they would let me have it for $1,200 more "just to be fair". I told them to shove there car up there ass. I suspected they had another buyer, called back the next day, and can you beleve it, the car was sold. ASS HOLES!!! I'm sure there are some honest dealers out there, but not many.

Mike CALL Packinair !
I talked to him about a new truck and what I could afford and he (at first ) said that he couldn't do it for the price and what I wanted .
A month or so later out of the blue he calls and say I have what you want and can do it for this price. By far the best sales experience I've had ,well other than the HOT middle aged saleswoman that sold me my furniture in my house:D

The think with buying any large ticket items is patience, I bet the sales person will call you within a day or two with the price you want. Unless you really let him have it.

Chuck, he just called. They say they might have "another way" to make this work. Whatever.

Mike, that really sucks!
there are alot like that tho'
until you get the final word from the finance company, nothing it set.
I have walked away from many deals like that.
One was with Eliminator several years ago. Maybe that is why I have bad taste about them :( Nice boats, just a crappy salesman.
Certian places deserve certain customers
Keep the head up, keep looking.
Best advice I can give you and alot of people will agree, get financing BEFORE shopping. Know what you can buy before you look for it. That way when the right deal happens, you can nail it under your guidelines.

Mike bro I am sorry to hear that!!!! Totally sucks. I am a little sour on my used car purches just because I did not get some of the stuff that I was promissed. I am a easy going guy myself as you know but believe me when I tell you that Ford has been hearing it from me. I would call up Chevy Customer Care and let them know what happened.
If it is any consolation to you Biggus had a boat all lined up to buy and he was headed down to Miami when he found out the boat sold. Well needless to say a while later and a bunch of boats, just when he was ready to give up to search he found a beauty!!!!! Some times all things happen for a reason, maybe the motor was about to blow.
