I think that Gary's Howard 28 has done a best of 133mph.

I think this cat will beat that.

Gary's top speed was 130.3, and that was on a bigtime race tune, turning over 7500rpm's and around 1400hp

Ran several differant P5X, again lost speed and handeling the boat really likes the Bravo style props, I just got one done by BBlades, got alot more cup and a mild labbing, weather has been chit here all weekend, but I will run it next weekend, going to be interesting to see what it does...

In case you're not aware of who Rik is, he's the man you talk to if you want to buy an Arneson drive. I think you have blown whatever chance you had for doing that...

Acually its is a issue with the drive. My boat is burning the prop a little bit with the new sc lower also. Erics eliminator does it also. I think it is the drive design on the lower unit.

I thought this might be just on Steves boat/outdrive combination, but sounds like it is a boat issue.

Your thoughts?

Chris

The next time you give it a speed run, set the boat and leave it after the run so you can take a pic to show the prop angle it likes.

How about a pic of the prop?

I sent Steve an email for engine centerline to put on the drawing but I have not recieved anything yet. Got the transom drawing.
