I think the arneson will be worth the work. I am sure Rik will give you all the help and support you need.

Try a little more homework and call him he is the master and will point you in the direction you want to go... If once you spoke to him and he says too hard to make work... The Weisman would be my second choice!

Good luck

#6.....tried and true. If people can run them on their single engine eliminators, you can do it on the RPM.

26Redline , send a PM to member "kanedog" on performanceboats.com/ . He has an 26 Eliminator Daytona with #6 hanging off the stern.

In this picture he didn't have one , but after breaking a few drives he went for the 6.

I'd think the #6 would a no brainer. As Sea-Dated said, Masher has been running one on his 32 Activator for quite some time. He doesn't pull his punches either. It has been well tested for a single engine application. I haven't ever heard him say that he was down due to drive issues. I was thinking one would look good hanging off of my 24 Superboat too!

mark kinser had a #6 on his 28' Elim daytona. I think he had around 1500hp+ in it...... Ran 144 or 148 in the shootout a few years back.

Do the #6, that boat will run like a raped Ape. I Talked to Steve about building a #6 boat a while back and I whoosed out. If not a 6 do Arneson RIKs route. Either way that boat is gonna run very well.
