Thanks for chiming in guys!
after looking up the design you guys nailed it.
Sure is a bad mofo.com this baby is more about what it brings to the fight than ship to ship combat - but still respectable enough and likely will never be really alone, but escorted by an Arliegh Burke destroyer.
Hilarious- last nigh on a TV show (build it bigger I think) I saw a guy
(You know the one - the show stars a quasi douche-bag host that's completely non physical, has no friends, and apparently has never experienced anything "type guy")
- do a complete tour of this ship- unbelievable design & super efficient.
Thanks for chiming in - BTW San Diego was awesome this last week.

It doesn't seem to be an affordable place even now.
I didn't really leave the resort too much on foot- just down to the end of the island for the wicked Mai-tais at the Bali-Hai. (seriously strong)
Thats actually the USS Midway from WWII its more of a floating museum than anything else, we sponsored a company party on it for about 1000 people there 2 years ago during the Siggraph convention.
Heres a few picts of the journey trying to get the GF some Seat time she took all the classes-
BUT when the big fog rolls in shes not ready yet for full instruments only navigation yet- but is getting there
Take a look at that that fog bank- I jumped into the seat and switched to a split screen view the way I like it for fog.
1. with the radar broken up into to separate ranges 3 lower right nad 1/2 mile on the upper right
2. a 3d course up view with the radar sweep overlaying onto the GPS
map.
