Thanks Steve,Well its a long bad story/getting a screwing,Previous painter here had it since Dec 3rd,they told me 2 months, ended up turning into a big job,I was on the bottom of the list,I couldn't get him to knock it out, I knew picking it up I would be screwed, which I did in the end anyway,So Aug 26 I pick the boat up,was told the deck was ready to shot and every thing else was finished,It had gotten to the point of hiring Lawyers and boat was pushed outside as soon as I said Im picking it up,it would of been deteriorating, paying storage and me loosing another summer,So I paid for one paint job in fullGot my boat back, searched for a painter and towed it up to Mitcher T Custom paint,on Sept 4th.within 2 weeks. Dropped it off at Mitcher T's ,went to lunch came back about 2pm, he had already started on the boat ,all taped up,trailer covered up, and they were sanding on it.He's not messing around. And this was 1874 miles and 31hours round trip driving,no sleep,After I and Mitch were going over the boat he figured its over 2/3rds that will be redone and the hole deck will be all new.I'm sticking with the same paint graphics,Hindsight site and money wise I could of had a high dollar theme style paint job.He said 2 weeks,I wish I did this in March,I would not of missed a hole summer

Rob, If you shrink wrap, make sure they pad it underneath so it doesn't beat the paint in the wind. I learned this the hard way.

I thought shrink wrap stuck to it like tape?

I run the Rock Tamers on my truck and love the easy on/off installation. I have a very long gravel drive. When I pull out, you can hear the rocks fling off the tires at about 50 MPH, so these flaps really save my boat finish. They're a well-made product.

Only on the edges. Between the edges and the high points, the wrap will flutter at speed and whip the paint. The Cig Factory used a special "under the shrink wrap" bubble wrap padding. I had other shrink wrap beat the tar out of paint at 60mph.

Well Rob, i had the same thing with the Tiger, that's why i took it to Dave..shrink wrap isnt tape. and I would be leery of putting anything that sticks to it with the clear being so new. I can do cars in 48 hours if baked, but that's a lot of area to have done. I know mitch does it right but still don't put any adhesive to the paint/clear. if you do shrink wrap it, make sure any area that is a corner has padding, like Michael (2112) says.

I use these with my truck. Work great and are easy to remove. All you need to do is install the mounting bracket on the frame of the truck
