BTW,
Don't forget to establish a speed record.
I think the guy that converted his 1950's pickup truck into a boat is the current record holder.

NOAA weather continues to look good.

Thursday And Thursday Night...East winds 5 to 10 knots. Seas beyond the reef 1 to 2 feet. Seas inside the reef 1 foot or less. Nearshore waters smooth to a light chop. Scattered showers and thunderstorms.

Friday...East winds near 10 knots. Seas beyond the reef 2 to 3 feet. Seas inside the reef around 1 foot. Nearshore waters a light chop. Scattered showers and thunderstorms.

Saturday And Sunday...East winds 10 to 15 knots. Seas beyond the reef 2 to 4 feet...except higher in the gulf stream. Seas inside the reef 1 to 2 feet. Nearshore waters a light to moderate chop. Scattered showers and thunderstorms.

Thursday looks perfect for our crossing. Looks like the winds start to pick up Sat / Sun. but still OK for the return. We need to continue to watch it tho. Once it becomes 20 knots it can be nasty out there.

Hi Mike. We will leave pretty well full from Key West so that will get me to Havana and all the way back to Marco. I do not want to take a chance on fuel quality down there.

Have a great time and stay safe. No acrobatics getting on and off the boat.

He, he. So you think it's not so bad me being a Canuck, eh Terry? LOL I feel like I have dual citizenship at times. Best of both countries. I promise there will be no acrobatics, broken bones or torn ligaments at least embarking and disembarking.

I remember that truck. Very ingenious. I just hope I do not encounter any rafters. Don't hear too much about that anymore. They have upgraded to centre er I mean center consoles ( LOL) stolen from FL.

Have fun with the Goprop Bob. I have one and it works great. Out of a 4 gig card, I get about 1 hr and 45 mins of video. Use lithium battery to get the most out of it. Good luck
