This was a good read now it is getting out of control. Oct. 9th we will all know the true story.

Correct.

Fountain nut-swingers ruin another well spoken and thought out thread.

I personally was pulling for Hustler to make the deal, but now I hope ANYBODY can make the company function.

Its hard to tell if ANYBODY knows how to run a boat business.

The privately held companies are opaque -- who knows what is really going on there. The public ones, as we can all see, nearly all are having big problems. At least Brunswick looks like they will survive, but its taken a LOT of bloodletting to do so.

Just wait until the 9th and all things will come out all right, with a little luck.

if the auction is on the 5th...

why the info release wait until the 9th?

and... drum roll.... what if Oxford decides NOT to sell the note?

drum roll again.... and if the note does sell for BIG money, can Regions come back and declare a intentional frauded BK and file suit for the balance?

the bilge pump is still running...

You're fighting a losing battle......

My spin is this love hime or hate him Reggie brought offshore powerboats to the mainstream through his marketing and advertising campaigns.....he has also built a brand that is worldwide.....and with some business savvy the brand will continue to do business......as I see it the industry has enough problems going on........to have the Fountain brand absolutely go away would be another nail in the coffin.....so instead of fighting why don't we just see how it all plays out.....Who knows maybe your Fountain's value will increase....

This sums it all up. I hope the best for Fountain all the rest in the go-fast market.

That is how most people with money do it, they never risk their own. Not sure why that seems to always be a surprise to people.
Not a suprise, but he doesn't OWN any of the company nor the trademark anymore-it's not his company. Plenty of takeovers/mergers/purchases have ousted the CEO.
