Thanks guys, we are at the mouth of an 11 mile long river that joins Long Lake to Sebago Lake, about a 1/2 mile down river from my house there is a lock to pass through that drops you about 5 feet. There is about 60 miles of boating from top to bottom and 6 miles wide at the widest point.Sebago Lake is the water supplyfor the city of Portland and the water is chrystal clear!

There are a few performance boats up here but nothing like LOTO:D :D ...I`m sold on that place and the wife says sell now!!!!

Kurt.

You bought a real nice boat. I know the former owner and he took great care of the boat. How do you like the valve covers a friend of mine did those.

DOH

I just sent you an e mail, I didnt realize you had posted here.

How about filling everyone in on vitals, motors, outdrives etc. of the boat.

As far as selling and going to LOTO..........Just think, your boating season will probably be doubled :D and didnt you say Laura is in the medical field........ LOGH (lake ozark general hospital) is ever expanding so im certain she could find something there.

As for your ocupation.............. I would gladly relinquish my title of Emporer to you. :D :D

That photo looks too tranquil. Like that boat is going to wake up every hunter for miles around.:D

Biggus 04-07-2002 12:21 AM

Yeah, today it did beak up the monotony:D Spent some time with powervalves and float levels and all new plugs. I don`t want to piss off too many folks 'cause everyone has guns:eek:

The motors are 468`s with BDS 671 blowers and Superchiller intercoolers. CMI headers, Huber trannies and TRS drives. It was built and propped for 5800 rpm at 6lbs.boost.Currantly running 25p labbed Mirage Plus @5800...seems too high for me??
What`s you thoughts on 27`s to lower RPM?

Kurt.

Aren't those motors putting out around 750 a side? Are there any issues with running that much hp through the trs?

Biggus 04-07-2002 08:02 AM

Phil at Lipship says the key to long life with TRS drives is don`t load them up too hard, run a 3 blade prop (the 4 blade gets too much bite) and spin the motors a little higher instead of running a steeper pitch to reduce load out of the hole.I have had TRS drives on several boats over the years and (knock on wood) have never had a problem with them. Transmissions yes, drives no:D :D
