I'm very sorry to hear about your Dad passing. My heart & prayers go out to You & Family.
I have been in & out of the hospital with my dad for the last two years and it ain't been too much fun either.
I (we) learn to chersih life and repect all forms of life. I stopped hunting and don't kill anything that ain't out to kill me first (current change of ways).
I don't have wise words to share with you and dread the thought of my parent's death.. and I how I will deal with it.
I think I will try to off think things and think of the best of times we had together. If I start to break down.. I will (mentally) slap myself in the face and say that... my Dad would not want that and to... get-it-together.

I feel for you.......my father just passed away on the 10th from a long battle with cancer. My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family. Just remember the good times and cherish the time you had together.

Lost my dad last December and I just try to be positive and think of all the great things he taught me, whether it's how to drive a boat or how to deal with people in a straightforward, direct manner. Remember the good stuff!
