Coming to Miami - Who wants to take me for a ride? ($)
 

Hi folks,

I'm trying to fulfill a dream since I've seen that iconic image from one of the first episodes of Miami Vice (You know the one)...

I'm a Canadian boater who is scheduled to fly down to Miami for a few days in early November for a conference. I figured since I'm down there, I might as well take in the sights, and see about going out for a ride in an offshore powerboat.

Here's what I'm looking for:
I'd like to go out into the open Bay for an hour
I'd like to drive the machine

Here's what I'm cool with:
I've budgeted some "thank you" funds for this
I want the owner of the boat to come with me

I have some boating and docking experience and hold a Canadian Boating licence.

Can anyone help me out? Or can someone direct me to someone who can?
