Not sure how fast it is. Not sure I really care. A 39 carbon fiber MTI with twin 1400 Ateco's that turn 7000 rpm with 1.24 gears and 38 pitch props. Call me chicken I have no burning desire to run 180 mph in a boat. I like to go fast not scaryfast.

I had Larry throttle for me in a Poker Run in very rough water at 110 mph. That was fun. At the shootout three years ago the boat was running less power than I have now. I have a car that goes over 200 mph also and I do not care to find out. I like cruising fast at low rpm in the boat. The engines live longer and so do I.

This is about Gino and his boat not me. His boat ran 182 and I suspect may have a little more. Mine only goes a little over a 100.

To tell you the truth, I'm not sure how comfortable i would feel either over the 180 mark. JT is the one with balls of steel!!! This wasn't a speed run! He went out to see if the boat was fixed. He took a picture with his phone. He made it sound like it was a leisurely ride. He said he didn't want to push it until he knew it was 100%! That is balls of steel! In my book he is the king!!

Well congrats Gino. Nice to know someone can fix it rite. I did look at it but no time to play with it. And yes , some balls are bigger than others...
