Glassdave are those drives wet sump or dry sump?

Also a rule of thumb is 1 inch up for every 12 inches back, but every boat is different.

They ventilate the prop to help it break free when getting on plane.

Right on, they allow ventilation through the cavitation plate during planing. Another thing I should have thought of.....:angry-smiley-038:
