I heard some on and off stuff about shorties. Jeff and I agreed that the 30 bravo 1 that we used on the water test was too thin. Im currently looking for a regular labbed 30, then we're going to try and cup it. We hope that will give it enough lift without compromising the handling. Others have told me the Kryptonites are MADE to run on the first step and adding the cup will loosen up the boat too much. We'll see! Hopfully we'll see mid to low 90's next season!

I would find someone with a 2 inch shorty and try it.
You are trimming a LOT - the shorty will allow you to not trim as much.
When I had a smaller boat I gained 10 MPH by going to a 2 1/2 inch shorty.
