Years ago you gave me S#it about buying a Dodge and told me I shoiuld go trade it in on a Duramax! Your current avatar says member since 05 but I think it was before that. BTW, I still have a Dodge just not the same one.

The 2003 and 2004 6.0L PSD are the ones to avoid as they were the transition years that Ford had so many problems with. Later years are pretty solid. Besides, in 2005 they came out with the coil spring front suspension which is a drastically better than anything prior.
I had an 04' and it had problems with the freaking smog equipment. Not a difficult fix but the computer does not allow a limp home mode per the EPA. Some just disconnect the EGR recycle pump and solve the problem that way. I have nearly 5 years on an 06" without a single issue. The coil suspension is the shebang. :drink: . |
