Manifold/riser question??
I know its been asked 100 times, but i searched for the info on a MAG and have not found much so im looking for feed back.
anyone know if there are any real gains from putting manifolds on a 496 mag, non HO
im told 50 hp, im told not worth it, depends what brands etc etc etc.
im looking for real world.
i could care less on horsepower claims etc. real world testing.
1 mph, 5 mph, 0 mph etc. do i need to reprogram my 03 computer to get power out of it. etc etc.
anyone have any info?
if i could see 2 mph real world gain, i would be happy.
pretty sure im proped for it. i have a labbed 24 now from bblades with some cup etc but im down about 400 rpm so the more power should bring it to its sweet spot and prop should be close.
i run 60-63 mph depending on water and load, id be happy to run 62-65 mph depending on conditions etc.
is it doable?
I do not want dry pipes, way to load for my taist, i have no sound restrictions, just way to loud for me, esp on a 60mph boat. lol

I think propping is gonna get you the biggest bang for buck... and you've done that.
