SEMA Show Las Vegas
I just got back from SEMA and I would guess that there were 75 2010 Cameros in various states of dress. One had a supposedly 1000 hp LS setup. There were various LS, I guess thats what you call them, engines for old muscle car installation and countless accessories for these new engines. Street and Performance had a full polished 427 LS with GM factory blower that made 746 hp @ 7000 rpm according to Mark Campbell, the owner of S & P. Cost was $25,000. Mark knows his stuff and I have no reason to doubt him.
This new type of engine is bound to make it into our marine environment. I'm not getting in line yet but it was an impressive array of new aluminum GM engines. I also saw 2 Domn8r diesel deck boats. Not impressive.

A friend of mine just got back yesterday from the SEMA show. He said the crowds were down this year and he only saw two small boats, which were in the 20 ft. range and one had a diesel engine in it. He said the weather was great.

The LSx platform motors from GM are fantastic. I have had an LS6 (used in Z06/CTS-V) and now have an LS2 (Corvette/TBSS), both are aluminum and both are just awesome motors. Simple by design, but put out excellent performance.

After seeing the 25th blown 2010 Camaro I sort of lost interest, had a good chat with the guy at the procharger booth, got a real education as to why a Procharger is a superior product to Whipple, marine or street.

Sema was great!!!
Spent the whole time in the main hall and missed the rest, there was not enough time. We were in the booth and doing a photoshoot at the lake.
We saw a lot of boaters.....
