To do list b4 season
 
1. Get boat from storage
2. Install new stereo system (head unit, amps, 4 speakers, sub. wired remote)
3. Drain and refill drive (Boat has sat for 2 years so Ill change it even tough it hasnt been used)
4. Install new exaust tips and exhaust plumbing(from manifolds back)
5. Mount Skeg Guard to hide that nasty ding.
6. Install 2nd battery/switch.
7. Pre-lube motor (again, it has sat for 2 years). Pull plugs and lube each cylinder. De-wiinterize.
Adjust trailer brakes-replace if needed.
Put on four new wheels/tires I just ordered.
Redo bunks.
New graphics at some point this spring.

How bout the rest of you?

Boat from storage
pull props-done
clean out left over things from last year since I could not then-done
Get Prostocker scoops back from factory-waiting :(
Pull drives
send drives out to clean up skeg repair
check u-joints and shafts
Check gimbal bearing
Pull port motor to replace coupler
Pull starboard motor to pull starter
Pull starter off port motor and send both out for refreshing
order who knows what parts :(
have decision made by this time on what stereo componets to order.
install amp, sub and speakers
wet sand and polish top deck
should have found a 380 Keikafer center tab by now.
install new tab after patching old mounting holes.
install new rub rail insert.
clean cockpit carpet
clean entire inside after installing amp, subs and speakers.
parts should be here by this time, I hope :)
reinstall port and starboard motors
align
install drives
install original props that have been 'done up'
land test everything on the hose
write apoligies to neighbors for motor and stereo disturbances :)
Water test reconditioned props
Order knew Hydromotive props :)
Testing testing testing
Get on the road to LOTO

Hope I did not forget anything

opps I did order GPS speedo and install

Well here's my list :
Remove cocoon (shrink wrap) = done
Take boat to marina have motors pulled off= done
Plug holes and finish off transom=done
Make transom plate for motors to hang from=done
Paint transom plate=drying as I type
Get all new hardware for hanging motors= done
Have new seals put in one motor( Lower unit)
Have new trim pump motor installed on other motor
Compound and polish hull
Take boat back to marina to have them hang motors
Change out fuel filters
Get new plugs for motors
Install new bearings on Trailer=done
Charge batteries
Test it all out
Have a couple of cold ones
Then I'll be ready for the Summer:D :D :D

First, I have to re-assemble my motor. After that I'll worry about the "little" stuff like paint.....drive oil....etc.... :cool:

1) finish assembling new XR upper
2) finish putting nosecone one (thanks Mike)
3) assemble drive and install
4) oops , have to replace gimbal bearing for larger XR u-joints .
5) change valve springs
6) lash valves
7) change oil
8) check valve lash now that engine is warm
9) install new Gaffrig gauges (thanks wally)
10)reinstall stereo (did a hack job first time),add a set of 6 x 9 's
11) Mount k-planes (thanks again wally)
12) install new race fairing
13) check trailer brakes
14) detail interior and exterior of boat
15) detail trailer

WHEW ! now it's ready to use !!!
