Arrow Looking for Single engine performance boat

A friend of mine is looking for his first performance boat. He would like a single engine 21-26 foot range. His price range is somewhere between $20K – $40K. Anyone on Lake Murray, Hartwell, Norman or Lanier trying to get rid of a boat?

He is currently looking at a 22 Carrera. Anyone have any feedback on this boat.

Thanks

Dyno used to own a Checkmate Convincor, 258 I think, and it really impressed me. Nice lines, nice ride, all-around nice boat. And they are in your friend's price range.

Making the best in the industry BETTER for over 25 years...... Lip-Ship Performance 305-933-9988
Have him buy my 97 24 (26) Baja Outlaw SST so I can buy a Cafe! I just dumped 20k into it.....Fresh Merc 525 with B&M blower, super chiller, Gil exhaust, 600 watt stereo, gafrig gauges, drop down wrap around bolsters, porta potty, trailer, etc etc etc. Motor has 0 hours on it due to the fact it's still in the shop getting installed! 45k

I have a 236 Seebold for sale with all the goodies 19,500. A great first boat. I would compare it to a 236 Eliminator XP but with the same power 10 to 15 mph faster. Easy on gas. You can see it in OSO under other boats. Top speed with 7.4 stock is 75.

Brad if he can suck up a few more bucks he can get Gary's mint 29 Fountain. Then he won't have to trade up in a couple of years. I went that route already as you know...hell so did you.

My friend has his boat for sale at a decent price ( I think)

1997 25 Active Thunder, K planes, external steering, tubular swim plateform , offshore mounts , Fresh 540 , CMI headers, switchable Imco mufflers, Pirelli flooring, and a custom trailer (boat sits lower to fit in garage).
This boat is really clean and I don't think you can find an 80+ mph boat with all these goodies for this price. $50K

The boat is all white with blue accents. (swim plateform, guage bezels, grab rails)

Brad, ask if he would be interested in my 26 PowerQuest. I found a boat last week that I am interested in, but the dealer will not take a trade. 1997 260, 454MAG EFI, Gill exhaust,
Vortech flame arrestor, ECU programed by Tyler. silent choice, 200 fresh water hours, cockpit cover, full cover, 350 watt stereo, two batteries and built in charger. Just ordered yellow bezels and cup holders not yet installed. 65-66 ON GPS W/ LIGHT LOAD.
High Performance Merc coupler($550 + labor) being installed right now by the Boat Doctor.

$35,000 on tandem trailer.
