I snuck out today mid afternoon to go grab my 41 raceboat from the paint shop. It took 3 weeks to clearcoat the boat and repaint the drives and tabs. While I'm waiting for the rowing team to move their silly little boat trailer. DJD comes walking up outta nowhere.(He does have is Cig there) After a few polite exchanges and a compliment from Dave, I try to break his stones about shouldn't he be working, but the marina dude hollers for me to get rolling. Seeya Dave. I get home,flip on the computer and check mail, and JoeD, another OSO'r, sends me an email saying the boat looked great rolling up the NY Thruway. Doesn't anybody work a full Friday? uuhhhh, I usually do. Hey, Dave, just kidding. You had a smile when you walked up, but when I asked about your newborn you were beaming. Congrats

I worked my butt off for a full 31/2 hours today..... Sounds like Friday to me!:D :D

I was going by the boat to take the cover off to show it to a guy for the second time.
I did end up back at my office and got home around 7pm (one quick bar stop along the way with the guys).

Dall's been popping up all over the place this week. Early in the week I sat down and flipped on the television and grabbed the phone to return a call. Well, about a minute into the conversation I looked at the tv to see what was on and to pick a channel and low and behold...DALL WAS ON TV SITTING ON A BAR STOOL DRINKING A BEER! I damn near fell off my lounge chair I was so starteled (sp?)! Turns out I had inadvertently turned to the Travel Channel which was airing a program about the Miami Boat Show from 2001. Part of the program covered the Florida Powerboat Club's poker run to the Keys after the boat show and Dall appeared in that part of the segment. I almost had a heart attack when his smiling, beer swilling mug appeared out of nowhere...

Next time warn me Dave! :D

Yes, I do have a job. But I'm busy raping the company out of a paycheck while I'm on paid leave for a knee replacement:D
