Sorry, I can't see how being submerged for 30 seconds is worse 4 months of constant spray, going everywhere year after year.

course I'm from MI... sea water has a salinity level. MI roads have a potassium chloride level far above a bit of sea water

which is more corrosive and we see 6 months at times
