What do you know about Total Seals Keith???:evilb:
Eddie

I own stock in total seal. :drink: but making a change we shall see

rings

ran hell fire rings before in the wedge pm engines, not bad but the total seals worked better, always leaked 0 percent on my engines when fresh, not hard at all to do, doesnt hurt to have proper bore and hone job and good lapped valve job to seal up properly, the beauty of these dykes rings is that even if u develop some slight leakage they will seal up while under a load or boost...

Maybe I should have clarified, no leakage issue to speak of, 2 percent or less.
The pro mod stuff goes 8-10 cold normally, course we dont worry about leaking much with them as long as the majority of the piston is still in the hole:eek:

that statement in itself is pretty funny.:grinser010:

Anybody try the Akerly and Childs (formerly Childs and Albert) tool steel ring? I know total 'squeal' makes something that is essiantly the same as well.......

Young Performance 02-19-2010 12:25 AM

Used them in Alky motors before(when they were Childs and Albert). That was a long time ago. Worked great though.
