Skater 388 vs 40
That video of Gatorone in Pure Platinum really gets the adrenaline pumping. Last winter I stopped by the Skater factory to see what was going on and have not stopped thinking about the 40 Skater. Is there a significant difference between these 2 hulls and their rough water capabilities. Is the 388 an extended version of the 368 or an entirely different hull.

388 tottaly different hull same with the 40 both great hulls the 368 is the 36 with 8 inches added to the tunnel width but also a different mold not cut up

40 SS best in rough water less speed per HP- weight ratio 40 Classic less rough than a SS but depending on the lay up close in speed HP-weight ratio 10'11 beam 38.8 Faster with same HP_weight ratio but less rough handling..also turns the courners faster. 11' beam |
That would make the 40ss 12 feet wide?
|
388 faster:drink:.Look at all the 388 race boats out there.
