So haveing 4 gas engines in the 8-900hp range is considered more reliable than 2 race gas engines in the 1700 to 1800 range? You would think haveing twice as many moving parts would equal things out as far as stuff to go wrong and break. But wow.....i cant wait to hear this thing scream by.

1700hp at 6000rpm's is by far better, than running it up to 7600rpm's and not having to run race gas. That 1700 was on 93 oct.

Don Onken's newest project is the first pleasure boat from Mystic and will have Lightning Performance Group V16's that are at a minimum 1700 hp naturally aspriated on pump gas.
This should be a reliable very fast pleasure boat. Congratulations!!! Here is the website with the pictures. http://www.lightningperformancegroup...t-project.html |

The site says the V16 only makes 1500hp so I doubt the boat will run 200 because of the weight and HP penalties vs the 500lb 1850hp T53-703s.
