Default Man of Steel 175mph Boat?

I was reading in the paper about a Windsor Ontario steel tycoon. He has a boat called Man of Steel, that was described as having two 1,600hp engines, and a top speed of 175mph. Does anyone know of this boat, what kind it is, etc?

I think it's an MTI. Was written up in one of the mags about a year or so ago.

I wonder what the rebuild intervals are on Sterling 1600's?

Or the drives?

Then again, if you can afford the boat...

Neat boat but I've never seen it on the water. He must not boat around here. Time between rebuilds can't be more than 20 hrs. The Bud Select boat had similar engines and they lasted less than an hour at race speeds.

I was reading the thread on Byrdman's 46 with similar JC power and they were pleased to have gotten 300 miles out of them. That's about 2 hours.
