Foam wins the "Steves hammer test".

Gurit (the company that makes your foam) shows weaker #'s in all comparative categories that they actually post themselves.

Am I posting bogus data "again".

Thats a win for balsa in 4 of 6 categories lets look at them

Compression stregth Balsa
Shear Modulus - Balsa
Shear Strength- balsa
Tensile Strenght- Balsa
"Steve Test" - Foam
Lightness- Foam (usually)

Would you have us all believe

1. all other third party data is meaningless
2. all other boat builder experience is meaningless
3. everyone else that uses balsa doesnt get it.

Dude It Broke Badly ROFLMAO Anything More OK.

The linear DID not BreaK!!!!!!!!!!!!!! NOW why: this because your beloved numbers are absolutes for your Wood GOT IT it's limits and Failure !!!!!!!! While,,,,,,, Still with me here ???? the Numbers are NOT Even Close to the Failing Point on the Linear Not even close!!!!!

NOW refer to Post #93 I usually get paid for this! BTW The A-600 is real impressive right??

Cool HUH?Key West Race video http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=h1csGLgX4tk

To re cap Uncle One more time Your "numbers" work for the brittle breakable things like the cross linked Foam and the Wood BUT not for the ultra sophisticated Linear Plastic Foams!

Tom Johannsen sells plastics - I wouldn't expect him to have a love affair with any other material.

Is this the sigma labs test? Id actually love to read it.

The linear passes the Steve test- OK!

Video is great- looks like you can make a nice fast boat.
If T2x says you're good I believe him.

Other guys make fast boats too.
